I had a dream where I was in court with my baby’s father and we were asked to sign some papers before getting called. I remember he signed them so quick and I kind of felt rushed to finish signing mine but as I skim through the pages to see what I was missing, the small packet was full of long questions where in some I had to read small paragraphs. I felt like giving up and just signing without reading, I didn’t want to do it anymore but I had to read them in order to answer the questions correctly. I figured that it was a small assessment in order for the judge to see if I was sane enough to make decisions. As I am trying to sign these paper my baby’s father is trying to be nice to me and talk to me although he has an order of protection that strictly says no contact! He even offered me a pen and I am trying to ignore him. Then a secretary approaches us and calls our names, i tell her I’m still signing the papers and she says ok, she explains that she needs those papers signed because we are going to be on the opposite side of the court than usual. My baby’s father looks confused and asks why and the lady says she has no idea, my hearts starts racing because I know why. The lady explains that the side we’re going to be at is where they take any case that has to do with finances, he still looks confused and then says “oh maybe because you put me on child support” I know exactly that was the reason why and I still denied it. His whole demeanor hanged towards me and I can tell her was bothered, he even took a few steps away and when the lady gave me some space to finish the paper work, he got away from me and went and took a seat. My heart was racing because I knew he was mad and there was no more of him trying to be nice and get on my good side.
